At The Wellbeing Co (formerly Optimal Health & Wellbeing), we believe the future of healthcare lies in prevention, early detection and understanding the individual behind the results.
We provide evidence-based health assessments, occupational health services and preventative healthcare solutions for individuals and organisations, helping people identify potential health risks early and make informed decisions about their long-term health.
Using advanced point-of-care diagnostic technology, we deliver immediate results during your appointment, allowing us to explain what your health markers mean in the context of your lifestyle, medical history and future health goals. Every assessment is accompanied by a personalised report, practical recommendations and a clear action plan, ensuring you leave with not just answers, but confidence in what to do next.
Where appropriate, your recommendations may include lifestyle interventions, access to guided, evidence-based solutions through The Practice Room, referrals to trusted healthcare professionals or specialist services, and support in seeking further medical investigation or a second opinion.
Whether you're looking to optimise your own health, support your employees or create a healthier workplace, our approach combines clinical insight with practical, evidence-based solutions that help people feel better, perform better and protect their health for the future.

At The Wellbeing Co, we don't simply measure health—we help you understand it, act on it and support you every step of the way.
At The Wellbeing Co, we believe better health starts with better understanding.
Lisa McCabe founded The Wellbeing Co with a simple mission: to bridge the gap between clinical health data and practical, personalised healthcare. By combining evidence-based screening with occupational health expertise and therapeutic intervention, Lisa helps individuals and organisations understand their health, identify potential risks early and take meaningful action to improve long-term wellbeing.
With over 20 years of experience in health and wellbeing, Lisa has developed a unique multidisciplinary approach that combines preventative healthcare, occupational health and therapeutic practice. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or test results, she considers the wider picture—your lifestyle, work, stress, recovery, movement, nutrition and overall health—to provide recommendations that are realistic, personalised and evidence-based.

No two people are the same, which is why every assessment begins with understanding the individual behind the results.
Using advanced point-of-care diagnostic technology, clients receive immediate results during their appointment, allowing time to discuss what those results mean, how lifestyle factors may be influencing health and which next steps are most appropriate.
Preventative healthcare doesn't end when your appointment finishes.
Where appropriate, your personalised action plan may include support through The Practice Room, referral to your GP, recommendations for further investigations, or onward referral to trusted specialists including physiotherapists, psychologists, cardiologists, women's health clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
Lisa has developed a trusted referral network to ensure clients receive the right care at the right time, recognising that the best outcomes are often achieved through collaborative healthcare.
